Bio
Enilda Torres (b. 2001, Las Vegas, Nevada) is an American multidisciplinary artist working primarily in photography. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Photography at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, graduating in 2026.Torres expands beyond traditional photographic presentation through alternative processes and material experimentation. Integrating textiles, book arts, and sculptural forms into her practice, she investigates how images can function as tactile, physical objects rather than solely flat surfaces. Her work explores personal narrative, memory, and mental health through constructed imagery and hybrid forms.
Her work has been exhibited in juried student exhibitions, including the 2023 Juried Gallery Show at Central Piedmont Community College’s Ross Gallery in North Carolina. In 2026, her work will be presented in the Photography Capstone Exhibition at the Gatewood Atrium in North Carolina.
Torres lives and works in Charlotte, North Carolina.
